Inspirational speakers take to show floor
Step Up, the leading event in teen choices for education and careers, came to Olympia London this week.
The venue this month also partnered with the Greater London Authority’s Careers Programme to take on four Year 12 students from Hammersmith & Fulham for a week of work experience from June 26 to 30.
The students spent the week with different departments of the business before attending Step Up Expo on the final day of their work experience, where they listened to an inspirational line-up of speakers including Radio 1 DJ Jack Saunders and MasterChef star Sabrina Gidda.
Olympia London’s local community is an area of focus of our ESG strategy, The Grand Plan, and this work experience programme was a great opportunity to connect with local people and add value to the local area around the venue.
